I ordered this based on the specs but when I got it, I didn't have a place to plug it in. I called Tech Support and they told me what was likely needed but that they didn't have that part to support it. He told me exactly what to buy and I ordered it on Amazon Prime, had it in my office in two days and now I'm like Buz Lightyear! My bosses are thrilled!

I had read reviews that this product lit up only when the headset was taken out of its cradle. This unit actually does what it is supposed to do. It lights up when the headset is used - not when lifted out of the charging cradle. Works great and lets people know that I am on the phone.
This product performs as designed and easy to set up. The only think that would work better is an add on proximity alarm. This feature would automatically reach out and smack the individual who chooses to ignore the indicator. Yes, sadly there have been a few.
It was shipped quickly and the installation was simple. It just plugs into the top of the lift and is immediately ready to use. We also put a little note out and it's been much better customer service wise than holding up a pointer finger to tell them "one minute."
People were always starting up a conversation while I was on the phone with a customer. This gives them a nice visual that I am engaged in a conversation. works as advertised.
It works if you tell people about the blinking light
I really like the idea of not being interrupted during a phone conversation just because you are not holding a phone on your hands. My Plantronics ear piece is on my right side so people can never tell if I am on the phone or not. I had to explain to my co-workers what the blinking light meant. Then I added a business card size sign that reads "Hi there! If this light is blinking, I am on the phone"
I bought an "extension cord" from Radio Shack so I could place the light where it would be more visible to folks passing by my office, without having to move my telephone. I placed a sign in large letters under the light explaining to folks coming to my office what the light meant. Once they are all trained to pay attention to the light, it serves me very well. 360-degree visibility would be a welcome enhancement.
This Product is easy to use and it significantly reduced the number of calls that were being interrupted. It is so simple; the only improvement that would be amazing would be to have them create a wireless one.
This product works and very easy to install. I wish there was something that gave a 360 view. It is designed to work unfolded from the base. Some of my employees have stated that a single bulb light that could be seen 360 would be better. We have to arrange them in a way that faces in a direction so it could be seen by the majority of co-workers. However, it is better than not having one.
Great Product.Cuts down interuptions.However,needs to have a suggested sign verbage for posting next to the unit to explain what it does for those not familuar with it.Also, double sided tabs to mount to the desk would be VERY helpful
This item is wonderful! It dramatically cuts down the number of interrupted phone calls. The only downfall I have found so far is the light will not activate if the lifter is not being used. It would be very helpful if it worked whenever the phone was off hook.
It's easy to install (if you have the lifter, just plug into the back of the lifter box. It is easily seen and lightweight enough to be able to set on top of a flat (thin) monitor, yet the cord is long enough to set about anywhere you'd like. It has helped immensely with interruptions from visitors as well as staff!
I think it is great!!! I does work with the handset lifter you just have to plug it into the back of the handset lifter not the base. Hope this helps the person that said it didn't work with the lifter.
Bought this just a few weeks ago and it serves its purpose. People can now see that I'm on the phone, however they much be standing directly in front of the light to see that it is flashing. If the cord was longer I would hang it on the wall behind me so everyone could see it. Or if the light had 360 degree viewing capabilities this would greatly enhance the product. 4 starts for doing its job well, would be 5 if it had a longer cord or 360 degree viewing.
Works as advertised, plenty of cord to mount it anywhere, or use the supplied adhesive sticker to mount it to your phone like I did. The motion patterns were an unexpected surprise. A little pricey, but it is a must have accessory.
This is a good product, but it really needs to be double sided with the light. If I put it on top of my computer screen, people working in back of me can see it, but the customer can't.
i bought this to go with my CO54, and when i received it i was very excited!!! then i found out that it only works when you're using the handset lifter. Really? you couldn't have made that clear?? it's such an awesome idea, i hope someone comes up with a way to make it work when you're not using the handset lifter!!
The light stays on as long as the headset is on; not when the headset is connected on a phone call. Not useful if you are not using the handset lifter.
The website stated "works with all wireless head sets". It does NOT work with ALL wireless head sets. It works with just 2 models. Does not work with any Bluetooth models which is most of their line. Tech support is working with market to get the website corrected.
The purpose of our cs 55 headsets is that they do not need the expensive and bulky handset lifters. This product is only compatible with the handset lifter or a phone that has a specific plug for this indicator. When plugged directly into the headset base, it is lit until the earpiece is back on the charger. We are send the ones we ordered back.
