This toothbrush is fantastic. I love the speed and pressure sensors and that it automatically reads the brush head being used. Overall extremely happy with it. The only downside is you have to use the app in order to time your brushing correctly depending on which brush head you use.

I have had a tartar and gum problem for years and decided to try Sonic care and the results so far have been great. The sonic vibrating action seems to be doing a better job in regards to my gum health and in keeping tartar build up at bay.

The product has a great performance. The finish is great. It comes with a portable travelers case which is sleek and house charging capability. The one all finish is smooth and attractive.

Never had an electronic toothbrush before but bought this back in Sept 2018 and been using since then, never had any issues with this product and take it in the shower with me and no problems at all. Really like the app features along with it that remind me when to change the heads. Wish they made the app compatible with the smart watches.

The 4 brush heads leave your mouth with an unbelievably clean and fresh feeling. It may take a little longer to brush your teeth but it’s well worth it. I won’t know for sure until my next dental visit, but I’m sure that my gums are healthier and my plaque is minimal. Worth every penny for this product.

I have owned a mechanical toothbrush for well over 15 years. I thought what I was doing was the best brushing for my teeth until I found this thing. I have bad teeth as it is so I have to brush 3 times a day to stay off the cavities. In looking for the best product available I stumbled across this thing. Let me tell you it is better than I could have imagined. Ya it's a little bit more than some others but that's simply because it's better. In every sense. The level of clean is insane! I can't even compair it to others because it does is a disservice. The toothbrush learns what setting you use most and goes there automatically. My daughter has one too now and she loves using the app intergraded with this device. She brushes non-stop saving me on trips to the dentist. The wireless charging is perfect. I love the quality glass it comes with. I can't recommend this product enough. If your thinking about buying one.... Do it. You will love it as much as I do.

This is my second diamond clean toothbrush. This one has even improved. I like the features and different programs. It was a little confusing in the beginning. I don’t like the App because you have to have your phone always nearby. But the rest of it is perfect! Great design. Just a bit pricey.

Why three? Because I had one take a tumble off a sink and break, and sadly I didn’t register that one! Second one I bought was great, but I didn’t splurge for the top-of-the-line like this one, so I ended up gifting it to my significant other who loved, and still uses, it.

This one. This one is amazing. I brush too hard, and the lighted handle end to warn you is amazing, the amount of choices for cleaning modes, sensitivities, and the smart heads are AMAZING.

Since we’ve started brushing with these, our dentists have noticed an improvement. My regular teeth cleaning used to be painful, and I would dread it. Now, it takes mere minutes, because they’re so impressed by how little plaque has built up, and it’s a wonderful experience! I can only attribute that to the Diamondclean brush, as nothing else has changed with my routine.

We've used Sonicare toothbrushes for years, upgrade from time to time when there are new features and it's made a considerable difference in our dental care through the years. The DiamondClean SMART is by far a superior toothbrush and the app is FANTASTIC. I'm actually amazed in the areas I miss if I am not using the APP. There are three significant negatives about this toothbrush and one is the handle is slippery to the touch even for a female and my husband has a difficult time holding on to his due to having larger hands. The price point is EXPENSIVE, as well as the replacement heads. Due to the toothbrush letting you know when to replace a brush head, I'm looking forward to seeing if I'll go through fewer heads being notified by the toothbrush when to replace. Regardless of the price of the toothbrush SONICARE needs to include the actual charger that plugs into the electrical outlet so that you don't burn up the handle when charging. One would think since it uses the typical USB cord that you could use the standard plug, but NOT so. If you don't have a plug that supplies the correct voltage which is not what you would use to charge your phone or any of the other USB devices you will damage the toothbrush. How many people do you know that just might miss this in the instruction book that comes with the toothbrush? Fortunately I had another plug that charges another brand water pic that was the right voltage. Additionally, I was happy to discover there was a $70 rebate on the toothbrush if purchased and the rebate was completed before the end of 2018 so saving $140 on the two toothbrushes sealed the deal. Overall it's a beautiful toothbrush, does an incredible job and I love the charging glass that sits nicely on my bathroom vanity.

Two people use the brush. Both us us are very pleased with it. The app makes it a lot easier to "see" what you are doing and what your progress is.

This is my second Sonicare brush. The first one was very good. This one is excellent. Highly recommended.

Took a while to get use to reminds me of dentist. Glad I stuck with it love it now.

For years, I thought I was everything right to take care of my teeth and gums. I religiously flossed daily, used interdental brushes, brushed twice daily, and used mouthwash regularly. However, despite all my efforts, my dentist and dental hygienist repeatedly told me I was having problems with my gums, particularly around my molars. Then, I learned about the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart Sonic electric toothbrush and decided to give it a try. Man, what a difference it has made!
The biggest benefit from using the toothbrush for me has been the immediate feedback it provides me via my iPhone when I apply to much pressure or brush too vigorously. As a result, I've learned to apply less pressure and to let the device do the brushing for me. Over time, I've noticed that my gums are not as sensitive as before and they actually appear healthier. Even my dental hygienist has noticed an improvement in my gums. Now, I'm looking forward to my annual exam with my dentist for his input. Without a doubt, I would definitely recommend this toothbrush to others!

This is a great toothbrush. I can literally say my teeth and gums have never felt better. The Sonicare app, guides you through where and how long you need to brush, with reasonable accuracy. For me, my only hesitation in the purchase was the glass cup charger. But no worries, the kit also included a small round plastic part, which can be used in place of the glass cup to hold the brush for charging. I still use the cup to hold the other brush attachments, I am using.

I like this toothbrush and its functions.
It works perfectly and the results are great.
One detail on the handle would be highly appreciated: Dispensing the toothpaste using both hands is close to impossible because the toothbrush doesn't remain horizontal while it is on a hard surface; in fact it tends to roll on itself and the toothpaste ends on the surface. A little plastic tooth (like the old Sonicare) would solve the issue.
Last but not least: The relative app drains rapidly the battery of my smartphone and for this reason I have deleted it.

I have had a Phillips Sonic-care tooth brush for 20 years. I am amazed that they were able to improve the brush, it was great 20 years ago and better in 2018. A few years ago I was given an Oral -B unit, used it for a few years and glad I purchased the new Phillips Diamond Clean unit. My teeth feel much cleaner again.

We have been using Sonicare for many years. The latest model is terrific in offering a variety of heads for gums, teeth etc.

After a few recent trips to the dentist, and the hygienist, it was clear that I was having some gum recession, having never had braces the verdict was I was likely using too much pressure during brushing, or "pushing too hard" with my toothbrush.

The dentist recommended a Philips Sonicare toothbrush with the scrubbing sensor that alerts you when you are pushing too hard, reminding you to allow the toothbrush to do most of the work.

There are other Philips Sonicare models with the scrubbing sensor that cost less than this model, and those would have worked just as well, however, I chose this model because it comes with so many toothbrush heads included that on a per-cost basis it was almost the same price for the lower models, at least from what was available to me when I purchased, plus there are many other features as well, and I liked the color too.

I was previously using an electric toothbrush from a different manufacturer that was supposed to have a similar scrubbing sensor, however, it felt like I had to almost snap the toothbrush head off that unit for it to indicate I was using too much pressure -- my new Sonicare not only has the great scrubbing sensor, once I adjusted to the increased brushing cycles I have found it does a much better job of cleaning my teeth. My old toothbrush has been retired with the rechargeable battery properly recycled.

After a month of use I'm very happy with the performance. The manual could be better, not all features are completely covered in the manual. All the information I needed was found on the internet after some specific searches, and that information may apply to several different models of Sonicare toothbrushes, it would much easier if it was included in the manual, either in the box or online.

My teeth have never felt this clean since I started using this brush. I love the different modes to choose from for the problems your having or not having. Solid purchase.

I got this toothbrush at the recommendation of my dentist. I just had a number of crowns put into place and want to make sure I do my best to keep them clean. It is amazing that after only 2 minutes of brushing, my teeth literally SQUEEK clean every time! I've never seen that before..only right after getting a cleaning at the dentist. The app works well also and helps you know if you've covered the various areas of your mouth long enough. I do always find myself using it for a few extra seconds to make sure I've gotten the upper inside of my teeth enough but the software is smart enough not to make that another brushing session. Just excellent overall!

This product has all the features you need to keep your teeth really clean. And tongue. The App helps to keep track of my progress. Overall is by far the best toothbrush I've ever had

The app helps you clean your teeth correctly & improves dental hygiene. I purchased my 1st Sonicare in 1997. Converted my husband to using a Sonicare in 2000... After using a Phillips DiamondClean Smart Sonic electric toothbrush it's hard to use a manual toothbrush, your teeth just do not feel clean.... My sisters even use Sonicare electric toothbrushs. One of them tried a competitor's years ago, but she went back to using a new Phillips electric toothbrush....they are the best electric toothbrushes ever!!!

The software is a great feature enjoying my brush.

This is a fantastic product I find my teeth are cleaner and gums healthier since I began using the diamond clean. I love the app I was amazed at how much of my teeth I actually missed brushing. It shows what I missed and monitors as I go back and retouch what needs to be done. The dentist recomended this one and it is well worth the extra money for the diamond clean with the app

I've used Phillips Sonicare electric toothbrushes for years. My older DiamondClean just gave out after years of use so I upgraded to the DiamondClean Smart Sonic and I love it and all the bells & whistles (light notifications, app tracking, all of it). I always get an A+ Grade from my dentist and couldn't do it without this brush!

Funny: brushing my teeth had become entertaining. Even my kids want to brush theirs. With MY brush, of course! Anyway... it does the job it fertilized it would on the box and I'm so far not disappointed.

I was anxious to have a Sonicare. A lot of colleagues indicated me and when I tried the first time I realized why. After the cleaning, the sensation is that you just got out of the dentist office after a professional cleaning. The teeth have become super smooth, and you do not feel any dirt when you pass your tongue over them. Fantastic sensation. Congratulations to Philips to have this line of products.

There's no denying this is an expensive toothbrush. However, after about 2 months usage I can honestly say it's the best brushing experience I've ever had. Great results and a great mouth feel all day long!

You don't know how much you need the Sonicare DiamondClean Smart until you have it! My hygienist has noticed an improvement in my oral hygiene and she has noticed less recession wear since I started using it. I'm glad I updated to the new Sonicare DiamondClean Smart toothbrush.

I absolutely love this toothbrush. I am coming from another Sonicare, the regular E Series. I have had my regular E-Series for quite some time, and have always preferred its use. However it did not have any of the features the new ones have, not even a QuadraPacer. So I figured I'd get the newest one, and I have enjoyed its use everyday. Not only does it have so many more features, it also gives a far superior brush. My teeth were visibly whiter after just one week's use. Also, with the sensors that tell you to reduce pressure or to change position, I realized that I had been brushing my teeth wrong for years. Best purchase I have ever made. Furthermore, it's beautiful design makes my countertop look even better with it on it. Sonicare has really outdone themselves with this toothbrush!

This brush has worked great since I got it on September 5, 2017 and I've used each of the heads which are excellent. The phone software is handy to update the firmware in your handle as well. Lots of things are available via the phone software, not just the firmware update. It keeps you focused on brushing correctly and even has in application product purchases. The only improvement to the software would be to have the right upper molars turn white as easily as the rest of the mouth. I also think the gum cycle could use a little more time for the single pass on the incisors and canines. The biggest omission, however, is the lack of TongueCare+ heads. Today is 6 months of ownership and no TongueCare+ are available for purchase.

The app is what I love also, because it help you hit the spots that you miss, keeps up with the use of the heads.

This awesome toothbrush comes with multiple brush heads for its different functions. What it DOESN'T come with is a HOLDER for those brush heads! So as a couple, we have SIX brush heads that we balance on the counter because we don't have something to hold them appropriately. A CHEAPER version of a Philips toothbrush also has a UV sanitizer. You'd think that the MOST EXPENSIVE brush Philips offered would include all of the things the cheaper versions do! MISSING: brush head holder! WISH: that HX9957 included the UV sanitizer. Philips does NOT offer either one for the HX 9957!

Love the black color and that it has many options!! Also like the charging in the glass.. hate to say it but I find if it looks good on my counter I’m much more willing to leave it out and use it!!!

Everything is great so far. I love the interface and the way my mouth feels after a brush. The modes are great, I’ve been using Sonicare products since 2010.

Conic cleaning is exceptional. Cleans thoroughly between my teeth. Stimulates gums also.
Miss the rotating brushes for additional stimulation and placque removal from other brands.

The variety of cleaning solutions combined with a likekind variety of toothbrushes encapsulates the needs for most any user.
