I started with a Tom-Tom years ago, which I found to be easy to use, but when that became woefully outdated, I was given a Garmin, which was okay, but that also became outdated (neither had, at that time, unlimited updates at no cost). Then I purchased a Magellan (which included such updates, and I used those twice), and I liked that one the best; but it finally "died." This Tom-Tom replaced that (being the best available price), so I've come full circle. Although I've just started using this one, I've found it to be user-friendly. (And more usable than my smart phone's GPS when I'm driving to visit at several different addresses in the same general area.
The subject GPS is very nice and seems easy to use but I did not receive an owners manual with it. Instead, FOS sent me a PDF of the manual to download which was more than 35+ pages and I did not want to have all of those sheets of paper to haul around when I am driving to look at it when I want to use it...!!!
I didn't notice it at first but the power cable with the cigarette lighter adaptor has a sloppy splice in the middle of it. Black electrical tape was used. It is an "end of life" model which doesn't allow you to update the software or maps. If I knew that I would not have bought it. .
