Even though I purchased 3G Set just before stock of 4G. This radar system is a great compliment to my overall HDS 12 unit and array running on my vessel. Will be looking forward to upgrading, even though I am behind in the technologies that seem to evolve as soon as I purchase upgrades.
I have a lowrance on my sailboat and it has saved my hide many many times. Just last weekend was on my sailboat in Captree long island, a speedboat would have clipped me if I did not get the fast notice from Lowrance.
Great unit, have it running on a HDS Live. Love the two sceen radar setup screen. I run one at 1/2 mile for close targets and one screen at 5 miles out. Also very impressed with the bird mode for a closed dome radar. I can't be happier with the performance. We deal with lots of fog in the PNW and this radar is a life saver!
I purchased the Halo 24 for use this summer on my boat. Initially with such a big investment, I was not sure if I would like it, but after using it over the course of the past several weeks I am confident I made the right choice and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I bought this to replace one of the same model that I had used for fishing, geocaching, hiking, etc, for the last twenty years. It finally failed and I decided to go with what I know works. I'm still planning to try to repair the old one, but there is no hurry now, I know I have 20 years or so to fix it.
Went out with this for the first time and couldn’t believe how well it worked! If it says Lowrance on it it’s always quality and the best out there thanks Lowrance !
I got this unit to complment my deph finder's it works great outstanding unit for the price works in all weather conditions great to predict approaching weather especially in tournments easy to use!!!!
I just installed the halo24 on my 26 ft precession weld jet boat. We have narrow bay channels on the Oregon coast I was so surprised at how easy and safe it was coming back to port.
I have had it a little over a month and it has been awesome. I would definitely recommend it. I mostly do saltwater fishing and it’s been great for me.
