This is an amazing watch I absolutely love all the features on the device and love the gps track back feature. I definitely will be sticking to garmin instinct for a long time!
I recently got my garmin instinct , after a couple of tutorials on how to i downloaded gpx files then sincro my phone whith the watch and workerd perfectly. Absolutely worth it.
I’m only a week in; although, it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Easy and fast to set and pair, and navigating the watch has been a breeze; very user friendly with a ton of useful features.
I just purchased this watch for all of my Paddleboarding adventures. It was really easy to set up and had no problem connecting to my phone. It is light and the battery seems to be amazing. I am really liking it up to this point and ready to dig into more features.
I bought my first Garmin product (which was a Instinct) and I love it! This watch is very durable and is perfect for recording activities and using it out in nature. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone!
My first watch was unable to take a charge. Garmin made it easy to replace it with an identical watch within a week. Awesome service. Fine watch. More functions than i can use.
I bought this watch to use for tracking my activities ie running, cycling, weights. But I also wanted something I could use in the backcounty for hunting, hiking, and back packing. I have fallen in love with the watch almost immediately and wish I would have bought it sooner. One feature that most people don't talk about that I have found useful is the find my iPhone feature which works great when I am in a rush and need to locate my phone quickly.
Really happy with the watch so far tons of features and will get them all down with time but the watch feels great on wrist very light and feels way better than my versa 2 im glad i made the upgrade
My husband bought me this watch to monitor my heart rate and sleep. It works great! And I love the added notifications it provides me when I receive a text or call!
Just purchased the Instinct a few days ago, and am glad that I did. It was easy to get started using with the app; no issues pairing with the phone; and easy to use functions.
I have never found any watch that I could tolerate for more than a few days un till now. To say that I am satisfied would be an understatement. Everything from the size and comfort, to its easily navigated controls, this is the best of all worlds involving GPS and fitness tracking. Someone who takes many trips that do not mesh with cell phone service and, this is a must.
I went back and fourth for a little more than a year on buying the instinct. My casio 5600 served me well but I wanted to be able to track my body and interact with my phone without pulling it from my pocket. This watch is a great mix between features and battery life. I am roughly at 5 days and 50 percent battery life. You'll love this watch.
I had been eyeing the instinct for about a year. January 2021 I decided to final purchase it after reviewing many options. It took a few days to become proficient in navigating the options and learning how to operate the watch. I’m very happy that I purchased the instinct. I have really enjoyed using the navigation options, track back and site to go. Along with the heart rate monitor, pedometer, altimeter and thermometer. The other awesome things are the accessory apps Garmin Connect and Garmin explore. These apps really maximize the features of the watch and the data collected not to mention the date used to calculate your energy levels and stress. All around very impressed with this product and would highly recommend this to anyone. The price is right and after researching similar products it well worth the purchase and fun you will have using it.
I had this watch for a few months now, I wanted a GPS watch for hiking and tracking my bike rides / runs. The instinct fit the bill perfectly, none of the extras I didn’t want and all the features I did. Battery life is outstanding.
Very nice, tactical looking fitness watch that looks way better than the Apple Watch and performs just as well. I would recommend this if you don’t use the extra Apple Watch features such as texting, calling, etc.
Great watch. I’ve had fit bits in the past and this is so much better. Recently purchased some Garmin Track and train collars for my hunting dogs. I bought this watch not knowing it will sync with the collar set up. So many features that I over looked when skimming through the specs. I recommend this watch 100%. Definitely a sportsman’s friend!
Multiple calls to service and always made appropriate suggestions. Eventually problem was not repairable. So watch was replaced quickly and easily. Thanks
I bought this watch a week ago and so far I'm very impressed by it's battery life and features. I'm a hiker who occasionally jogs. So far, it captures all the information I need and it looks good on the wrist.
I've worn 24/7 for nine days and still have two bars of battery life left. The five programmable fields on the face provide all data I wish. Still getting used to button sequencing and multitude of activities and functions available one this rock solid watch. Loving it so far!
I’ve have been using an Apple Watch 5 for the past six months and decided to switch to Garmin. I am definitely a watch person and have a love for “real watches.” The Apple Watch always left me wanting something more like a real watch that could stand up to outdoor activities like MTB, hiking, and trail running which I do regularly. If you are looking for a watch with great battery life that you don’t have to charge every night with great gps features and more of a rugged build then this one would be a great choice. Band is very comfortable and there are a lot of other color choices readily available if you are into a change every now and again. The watch face is very legible even in lower light conditions and from different angles even without backlight on. The weight of the watch is minimal so there’s no issue there. It does take a minute to get used to all of the features of the watch and understand all of the options you have. I would recommend the instinct more for outdoor activities like running, swimming, mtb, hiking, and cycling versus tracking workouts in the gym even though it does have that feature. Overall, great watch that I’d recommend!
I bought the a week ago and I love it. I have had a lot of different fit-bits and by far this watch is better. It takes some time to get use to the settings and buttons but once you do it’s amazing!
I received this as a gift for Christmas 2020. I just saved my first walk activity and it worked very well. There is a lot more I need to learn and understand with all the options & menus which will take time and patience, but I find them quite intuitive.
I bought my Garmin as a gift to myself. I am using it to train for my 50 mile race. It’s easy to use, even when I’m fumbling with the buttons on a long run. Synced easy to my phone. Lots of useful features. Long battery life.
Small light watch and relatively inexpensive to track my activity. Like the navigation features. Surprised to get heartrate too. Has any feature I could use
