The Garmin GMR Fantom™ 254 is a 4', 250W open array radar with pedestal. It features MotionScope™ Technology that uses the Doppler effect to detect and highlight moving targets which help to avoid collisions, find flocks of birds and track weather. It also uses pulse compression technology that provides high-resolution imaging while maximizing energy to enhance target detection and identification. It has a detection range of 20’ to 96 nautical miles.

The true echo trails display a fading trail to help quickly and easily identify moving targets while accounting for the movement of boat. Dynamic sea filter automatically adjusts gain to calm, medium and rough sea conditions.
